When do TACHS results come out?
The Home Report opens after 3:00 PM EST on Friday, January 22, 2027, and Riverside Assessments says it cannot provide results earlier.
And what arrives is not a mark. It is a percentile rank — two of them — with no score out of a hundred, no count of right answers and nothing per subtest. Instructions for reaching it are published in early January on www.tachsinfo.com. Everything on this page is quoted from the publisher’s own handbook.
The sentence that settles the date
“A Home Report can be accessed online after 3:00 PM EST on January 22, 2027. We cannot provide your results earlier.”

That is the second half of a two-month wait: the paper is sat Friday, November 6, 2026 and Saturday, November 7, 2026, and the report opens in January. Nothing between those two dates is published, and there is no interim result to ask for.
What a parent expects, and what the report gives
The left-hand column is not a straw man. It is what every other test a thirteen-year-old has ever sat produces. The right-hand column is the handbook’s.

A percentile of forty means your child scored higher than that share of the children they were compared with. It does not mean they answered that share of the questions correctly — those are two different numbers, and there is no published way to turn one into the other. Which is also why there is no pass mark here to tell you: a percentile cannot be passed. It can only be higher or lower than somebody else’s.

Three refusals in one sentence — no review, no rescore, no retest — and beside it the handbook states that “A student may take the TACHS examination only once.” That is not said here to alarm anybody reading it in January, when it is simply the situation. It is said because it is the entire argument for treating the practice as the part that can still be changed.

What is on the TACHS Home Report?
A Local and a National percentile rank, which are the same two numbers sent to the three high schools you chose. There is no mark out of a hundred on it, no count of questions answered correctly, and no separate score for Reading, Written Expression, Mathematics or Ability.

No, on both counts, and the handbook is explicit about it: “All TACHS test results are final. No reviewing, rescoring, or retesting will be done.” — and separately, that a student may take the examination only once. That is the whole argument for taking the practice seriously in October, while it still changes something.
What is a good TACHS score?
Nobody publishes one. No percentile is named as a threshold by Riverside Assessments, and the high schools do not publish the ranks they admitted on either, so any specific number you are given for this was invented. What is published is that both ranks go to the three schools you chose, and that those schools decide.
